An Open Letter to the Sisters of Divine Compassion You Still Have Time to Do What’s Right
This isn’t a protest. It’s a prayer. A plea. A reminder.
To the Women Who Once Led Us with Faith
You taught us to lead with Courage. To think Critically. To speak with Love. And to walk in Obedience to God. Now, with deep reverence, we write back to you — not with protest signs, but with a question:
Will you return to the vow?
The vow that built Preston.
The vow that saved lives.
The vow that taught us who we are.
You Once Took Vows. Now, They Are Being Broken.
You vowed poverty — to live without personal wealth in service to others.
You vowed obedience — to follow the will of God through your community.
You vowed compassion — to protect and uplift the vulnerable.
Now, Preston — the very mission those vows built — is being closed. The property is being sold. Millions are potentially being distributed. And still, no public dialogue. No transparency. No compassion.
This Is Bigger Than a School. This Is About Obedience to God.
We believe the Sisters did not arrive at this moment overnight. But we also believe it’s not too late to turn back. Because vows are not symbolic. They are sacred contracts with God.
Sisters, your vow was to God — not to property, not to position, and not to comfort. There can be no other god in this decision but Him.
Stand With Us. Add Your Voice.
This is your moment to join the plea — as a student, a parent, an alum, a person of faith.

“You shall have no other gods before Me.”
