This Is The Final Stone

They come with power. We come with purpose. And purpose is enough — when it’s ordained by God.

One School. One Voice. One Shot.

Preston High School is not closing due to failure. It’s being closed by force — through control, not necessity. The Sisters of Divine Compassion once vowed poverty and obedience. Now they sit on a board of three, removing outside voices, rejecting donor offers, and preparing to sell a thriving school for millions. They wear the name “Compassion,” but their actions speak otherwise. This is not a financial crisis — this is a spiritual crisis.

You Cannot Preach Poverty and Profit in the Same Breath.

Every Sister of Divine Compassion took vows:

Poverty — To renounce wealth and live simply.

Obedience — To listen and follow God’s will.

Compassion — To serve the poor and vulnerable.

The closure of Preston High is a direct violation of those vows. They are breaking their sacred contract with God — and betraying the legacy of the women who built this mission by faith and sacrifice.

“To obey is better than sacrifice.” — 1 Samuel 15:22

Watch the Testimonies That Sparked a Movement

This isn’t just a protest. It’s a prophetic reminder. We are holding up the accountability mirror. We are calling the Sisters — lovingly, truthfully — to return to their vows.

What They’re Fighting to Save

They are fighting for more than a school —they’re fighting for a legacy of dignity, compassion, and faith. The Preston girls are standing to protect a place that shaped their confidence, their voice, and their future. Parents and alumni are fighting to preserve the mission that once uplifted generations of young women in the Bronx — not for profit, but for purpose. This isn’t just about keeping doors open.

It’s about keeping promises made in the name of God.

To the Sisters Who Once Taught Us Compassion

This letter is our plea. Our prayer. We urge the Sisters to stop the closure, honor their vows, and protect what they were entrusted with — not sell it for profit. We don’t ask this in anger. We ask this as people who believe the same God you serve is still calling you to do what is right.

One Prayer. One Voice. Every Morning.

We ask everyone — students, parents, alumnae, allies — to pray daily at 7:45 AM. That was the sound of the school bell. Let it now become our call to spiritual action. Pray for the Sisters to remember who they are. Pray for Preston to remain open. Pray for God’s will to rise above man’s plan.

“Each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.” — Romans 14:12

This Is the Moment. This Is the Stone.

“You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin.

But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts,

the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.”

1 Samuel 17:45 (NKJV)
